This Privacy Policy explains how '''Unistellar Industries, LLC''' ("Unistellar," "we," or "us") handles personal information for ''Rise: The Vieneo Province'', its launcher and online game services, the Rise wiki, the [https://portal.risetvp.com Player Portal], and related support.
A privacy notice explains our practices; simply visiting a page, playing Rise, or accepting the EULA is not consent to every use of personal information. Any consent required by law must be obtained separately.

Personal information includes information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. An email address, IP address, account identifier, or pseudonymous player name can be personal information; it does not become anonymous merely because it omits your real name.
* '''Accounts and authentication:''' your username or player identity, email address, authentication information, account preferences, and account or session identifiers. We do not request your age or date of birth as part of Rise account registration.
* '''Game activity:''' characters, vehicles, inventory, transactions within the game, achievements, activity and connection times, and the game state needed to operate the shared world. In-game positions describe activity in the simulation, not your physical location.
* '''Communications and support:''' messages, wiki contributions, player reports, support correspondence, and attachments you choose to provide. Communications sent through our services pass through our systems and may be logged or reviewed to operate the service, resolve problems, or investigate abuse. A direct message to another player is not a promise of end-to-end encryption.
* '''Technical information:''' IP addresses, browser and operating-system information, requested pages, connection and error information, relevant hardware/software details, and diagnostic logs or crash reports. IP addresses can also reveal an approximate geographic area.
* '''Purchases:''' purchase or entitlement records and the contact, billing, or delivery information relevant to a transaction. A storefront or payment provider collects the payment information required by its checkout; what Unistellar receives depends on that transaction. Do not send payment-card details to support.
* '''Platform connections:''' identifiers and status information received through integrations such as Steam or Discord when those integrations are used.
* '''Website measurement:''' information collected by the cookies and tags described below.
We receive information from you, from your use of the services, and from connected platforms, storefronts, or payment services where relevant to the feature or transaction. We do not require every category of information for every activity. Authentication and game-state information are necessary for online play; purchases, public contributions, and optional communications involve additional information.
== Why do you use it? == | |||
We use information to provide accounts and the shared game world; verify entitlements; process transactions; maintain and update the software; investigate crashes; respond to support and privacy requests; prevent fraud and abuse; and meet legal obligations.
We | We also measure website and advertising performance as described below and may tell players about Rise and other services or service marks operated by Unistellar Industries, LLC.
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, purposes must have an appropriate legal basis: providing a requested service or transaction, meeting a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate interests such as security and troubleshooting while respecting individual rights, or obtaining consent where required. == Diagnostics and AI-assisted support ==
Rise can create technical logs and crash dumps and automatically send diagnostic information to Unistellar for troubleshooting. Reports can include the game version, loaded software modules, error details, diagnostic identifiers, portions of the game process's memory, and associated connection information. Logs and memory fragments may contain player identifiers, file paths, messages, or other personal information.
Crash data is stored on infrastructure we control. For technical investigation, we may also process diagnostic material through '''OpenAI tools, including ChatGPT and Codex'''.
'''AI-assisted support:''' our support assistant also uses OpenAI. Relevant public game chat and messages from connected support-enabled Discord channels, player names, game/vehicle context, and selected diagnostic information can be sent to OpenAI to understand a question and prepare a reply. Recent public conversation may supply context even when a particular message is not addressed to the assistant. Support replies may be visible in the public channel. Please do not put passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information in public chat.
Unistellar does not itself train AI models on player personal information. Using an AI service for troubleshooting or support is different from training a model. Providers process submitted material under their applicable terms and account settings; we do not promise that historical submissions were excluded from provider training or immediately deleted. This Privacy Policy explains how Unistellar Industries, LLC ("Unistellar," "we," or "us") handles personal information for Rise: The Vieneo Province, its launcher and online game services, the Rise wiki, the Player Portal, and related support.
A privacy notice explains our practices; simply visiting a page, playing Rise, or accepting the EULA is not consent to every use of personal information. Any consent required by law must be obtained separately.
Who is responsible, and how can I contact you?
Unistellar Industries, LLC is responsible for the personal information described here.
- Unistellar Industries, LLC
- 2248 Broadway #1839
- New York, NY 10024
- United States

What information does Rise collect?
Personal information includes information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. An email address, IP address, account identifier, or pseudonymous player name can be personal information; it does not become anonymous merely because it omits your real name.
- Accounts and authentication: your username or player identity, email address, authentication information, account preferences, and account or session identifiers. We do not request your age or date of birth as part of Rise account registration.
- Game activity: characters, vehicles, inventory, transactions within the game, achievements, activity and connection times, and the game state needed to operate the shared world. In-game positions describe activity in the simulation, not your physical location.
- Communications and support: messages, wiki contributions, player reports, support correspondence, and attachments you choose to provide. Communications sent through our services pass through our systems and may be logged or reviewed to operate the service, resolve problems, or investigate abuse. A direct message to another player is not a promise of end-to-end encryption.
- Technical information: IP addresses, browser and operating-system information, requested pages, connection and error information, relevant hardware/software details, and diagnostic logs or crash reports. IP addresses can also reveal an approximate geographic area.
- Purchases: purchase or entitlement records and the contact, billing, or delivery information relevant to a transaction. A storefront or payment provider collects the payment information required by its checkout; what Unistellar receives depends on that transaction. Do not send payment-card details to support.
- Platform connections: identifiers and status information received through integrations such as Steam or Discord when those integrations are used.
- Website measurement: information collected by the cookies and tags described below.
We receive information from you, from your use of the services, and from connected platforms, storefronts, or payment services where relevant to the feature or transaction. We do not require every category of information for every activity. Authentication and game-state information are necessary for online play; purchases, public contributions, and optional communications involve additional information.
Why do you use it?
We use information to provide accounts and the shared game world; verify entitlements; process transactions; maintain and update the software; investigate crashes; respond to support and privacy requests; prevent fraud and abuse; and meet legal obligations.
We also measure website and advertising performance as described below and may tell players about Rise and other services or service marks operated by Unistellar Industries, LLC.
Where European or UK data-protection law applies, purposes must have an appropriate legal basis: providing a requested service or transaction, meeting a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate interests such as security and troubleshooting while respecting individual rights, or obtaining consent where required. Optional marketing or tracking is not made necessary for gameplay merely by describing it in this policy.
Diagnostics and AI-assisted support
Rise can create technical logs and crash dumps and automatically send diagnostic information to Unistellar for troubleshooting. Reports can include the game version, loaded software modules, error details, diagnostic identifiers, portions of the game process's memory, and associated connection information. Logs and memory fragments may contain player identifiers, file paths, messages, or other personal information.
Crash data is stored on infrastructure we control. For technical investigation, we may also process diagnostic material through OpenAI tools, including ChatGPT and Codex.
AI-assisted support: our support assistant also uses OpenAI.
See OpenAI's privacy information.
Contact support@risetvp.com with questions about a report, a deletion request, or help disabling automatic crash-dump uploads. Disabling dump uploads does not disable local crash capture or all other game and error logging.
What becomes visible to other people?
Other players may see your player name, in-game actions, public messages, rankings, and content you publish. Wiki contributions and revision history can remain publicly accessible. Avoid posting information you do not want others to copy or share.
Steam and Discord integrations can publish gameplay or activity status to those platforms, such as the activity you are performing or your location within the game. The client can also send a connected Discord user identifier to our game server. Platform settings affect what other people can see; the platform's own privacy notice governs its independent processing.
A link to a third-party site takes you to a service with its own practices. That does not give the third party a general right to receive your Rise account information.
Unistellar Industries, LLC does not sell player information for money. We do disclose some information to service and advertising providers. Privacy laws can treat advertising disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising even when no money is paid for the information.
Cross-promotion of other services or service marks operated by Unistellar is marketing by the same company. That is separate from disclosing information to an advertising platform to help deliver or measure a campaign.
Customer-list and lookalike audiences: we have used player data to create advertising audiences, including on Facebook/Meta, and may use this type of marketing again. This can involve providing email addresses or matching identifiers to an advertising platform to match existing users, measure a campaign, or find other people with similar characteristics. An email address converted into a hash can still be matched to a person; hashing does not make that disclosure anonymous. A new campaign must respect applicable notice, consent, opt-out, and children's privacy requirements. Updating this notice does not authorize an otherwise unlawful upload.
You can object to use of your information for customer-list or lookalike advertising by emailing support@risetvp.com. We will stop using your information for that purpose and request removal from audiences under our control where applicable. We may keep a minimal suppression record to avoid adding you again. This does not delete information the platform independently holds or necessarily stop general advertising.
Information is also disclosed in the following circumstances:
- Hosting and technical providers: the Rise wiki is hosted by ICDSoft in Boston, United States. The game and Player Portal operate on a dedicated server under our control. Diagnostic archives are held on infrastructure under our control, with the AI-processing exception described above.
- Platforms and transaction providers: Steam, Discord, and the relevant storefront or payment service process information for the features or transactions you use.
- AI support and diagnostic providers: OpenAI may process support and diagnostic material as described above.
- Website measurement and advertising providers: Google and Meta receive information through the tools described below and through advertising-audience activities where used. Their processing depends on the feature, applicable terms, and your choices.
- Legal and safety disclosures: information may be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security threats, protect people's rights, or handle a legal claim, subject to applicable law.
Cookies, browser storage, and advertising tags
The wiki and portal use browser storage for functions such as authentication and preferences. The portal stores sign-in/session information in local browser storage. Clearing or blocking necessary storage can sign you out or prevent features from working.
Website measurement and advertising:
- The Rise websites use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and use; this includes the Player Portal. Google Signals is enabled for the Rise Website analytics property. For eligible signed-in Google users, Google may associate website events with its own account information to provide aggregated demographic and interest reporting. This does not mean we receive your Google account password or your individual Google search or YouTube history.
- The wiki includes a Google Ads tag and conversion events associated with downloads or storefront links.
- The wiki also includes a Meta Pixel that reports page visits. Limited recent use of Facebook advertising does not by itself disable that tag.
These tools can send information such as the page visited, browser/device details, IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers to their providers. Google's reporting may include approximate city-level location and device information. Advertising features can support conversion measurement, remarketing, and audience matching, subject to the feature configuration and required permissions. Google Signals and an advertising account setting are not substitutes for obtaining any consent required from you.
Provider settings, your choices, and the applicable terms affect how information is used. See Google's information for partner sites and Meta's cookie information. Signed-in Google users can review relevant activity through Google My Activity and advertising preferences through My Ad Center.
You can use browser controls to restrict cookies and third-party requests and use privacy controls offered by the providers. Google also offers a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers; it does not disable every advertising technology. Blocking third-party requests may be needed in addition to blocking cookies.
Consent required for optional cookies or similar technology must be obtained before use. Reading this policy or continuing to browse does not supply that consent. The current sites load the tags listed above; use the browser and provider controls described here to restrict them.
Messages and promotion of Unistellar services
We may send messages needed to administer an account, deliver a requested service, address security, or respond to you. We may also promote Rise and other Unistellar services, subject to applicable marketing rules and your choices.
You can ask us to stop promotional email by contacting support@risetvp.com, or use an unsubscribe option where one is provided. This does not prevent necessary account, transaction, security, or requested support messages. The portal preference for email instead of a player message board is a delivery preference; it is not blanket consent to every marketing use.
How long is information kept?
We currently have no general automatic deletion schedule for server-held account records, logs, diagnostics, or backups. Some records may therefore remain until they are reviewed and manually removed. This describes the current operation; it does not create a right to keep personal information indefinitely or override a deletion obligation.
Different records have different purposes. A retention review considers whether an account or requested service remains active, whether a specific fault, dispute, or security investigation still needs the information, any legal recordkeeping duty, and a deletion request. We do not promise that every category is erased immediately when an account closes.
- Account and game records: records support the account, persistent game world, entitlements, and transactions. Closing an account or requesting deletion requires review of what can be deleted, de-identified, or retained for a specific lawful purpose.
- Logs and server-held diagnostics: these support troubleshooting and security investigations. Server-held crash reports currently have no fixed automatic age-based deletion period. Contact support to request review or deletion of a report.
- Local crash files: the current client normally removes successfully uploaded local crash records after seven days and undelivered local records after 30 days during its cleanup process. These are limits on the local crash queue, not promises about server archives, other logs, backups, or a diagnostic provider's copies.
- Public wiki contributions and backups: deleting an account does not necessarily erase public revision history or every backup immediately. Retained material remains subject to applicable privacy obligations.
- Analytics and external providers: the Rise Website Google Analytics property currently uses a two-month event-data retention setting and a 14-month user-data setting, with the user period reset by new activity. These controls do not erase most aggregate reports and do not set the retention period for our servers, advertising audiences, or other providers. External providers also have their own retention controls and obligations.
You may ask us about retention or request deletion at support@risetvp.com. We will assess the request under applicable law rather than treating retention as an unlimited right to keep information.
Children and parents
Rise has an ESRB Teen rating and regional content ratings. Ratings describe content; they are not a substitute for privacy protections. We do not ask for ages or dates of birth during Rise account registration, and Rise does not currently impose its own minimum-age account gate. Storefront age rules still apply.
A parent or guardian must agree to the EULA for a minor as it requires. That agreement alone is not verifiable parental consent to collect a child's personal information where privacy law requires such consent.
Parents who believe we hold personal information about their child should contact support@risetvp.com to request information, review, or deletion, or to raise a concern about further collection. We may need proportionate verification of the requester's authority.
When we learn that a player is under 13: we will review the affected account and stop collection, use, or disclosure that requires parental consent until the requirements are met. We will delete information collected without required consent, subject to a narrow lawful exception, or obtain valid parental consent before the affected activity resumes where legally permitted. This may require suspending features or the account while the issue is resolved. We do not currently offer an automated verified-parental-consent registration process.
We will not use information we know belongs to an under-13 child for customer-list, lookalike, or targeted-advertising purposes. If we learn such information was included in an audience under our control, we will stop that use and seek its removal. Parents may request review or deletion of their child's information and refuse further collection, subject to proportionate verification of parental authority. Before a consent-based child account process is offered, its notice must identify the information, recipients, purposes, parental choices, and specific retention/deletion timeframes, and any required parental consent must actually be obtained. This notice and a content rating alone do not provide that process.

- object to processing, including direct marketing;
- withdraw consent for processing based on consent, without changing the lawfulness of earlier processing;
- opt out of qualifying sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
- appeal a denied request where an appeal right applies; and
- complain to a privacy regulator.
Rights can have legal exceptions. We will explain our response and any applicable refusal or extension and respond within the period required by law. We will use verification proportionate to the request and will not impose identity verification on an opt-out request where the law prohibits it. Authorized representatives can contact us; proof of authority may be needed.
Where applicable law recognizes a browser opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, that signal must be respected. The current page code does not provide a site-wide control for the tags listed above. You can also submit a sale, sharing, or targeted-advertising opt-out request to support; an email request does not by itself block third-party scripts in your browser.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office, your European data-protection authority, or another competent regulator. You do not have to contact us first where the law allows a direct complaint. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
Security and international processing
Our infrastructure includes servers under our control and the US-hosted wiki described above. External providers may process information in the United States or other locations used for their services. Privacy laws can differ between countries. Contact us for information about a particular recipient, processing location, or the safeguards applicable to a transfer. Mandatory transfer and privacy protections continue to apply.
We use technical and administrative measures to protect information, but no system or transmission is guaranteed secure. Protect your account credentials, use a unique password, and avoid sending sensitive information in ordinary support messages. Keep in mind that support correspondence, diagnostic reports, and public contributions can contain personal information.
Changes to this policy
We will update the date above when this notice changes. We will give additional notice of material changes where required and obtain consent when a new use requires it. A policy update does not retroactively supply missing consent or waive your rights.
