Iagreous is the fuel of the Rise universe. Its extraction and refining has allowed mankind's exploration of space outside of the Terran system.
Fuel Ore
In its raw form it is a diamond-hard crystalline substance found deep beneath the surface. When extracted, it is formed into large, transportable blocks. These blocks are taken to cities or townships to be broken down through nuclear means to create an energy-rich gas known as refined fuel. Refined fuel is then sold to ships, docks, and all other Iagreous-based reaction systems.
