This article is about the airfield colony type runway expansion. For the airport diagram in Deois, see ATC.
A colony runway is approximately 6500 feet long and 150 feet wide (length varies depending on location).
Marston Matting Runway
This portable temporary surface-based solution requires 78,000 interconnected mats weighing approximately 30 kg each for a total amount of 2,123 MT of fabricated material required.
Concrete
Concrete runway requires 265,354 MT of grade C material to build the runway 4 feet deep. Ideally you would build the airport adjacent to an established mining operation and transfer the materials over!
