The up-link is an Inventory item that can be installed at Category:Colonies to connect the colony to the global network. This allows the colony to:
- participate in the Futures_Market
- be listed for trade with other players on the Deois website (must be within 50 km)
- integrate with the portal so that trade settings can be remotely managed and monitored
