Extends Template:AirVehicle, which in turn uses Template:Vehicle. Includes the same flight fields plus space-operation fields. Rain protection defaults to a bleed air system.

Usage

{{AerospaceVehicle|weight=113,933 kg|thrust=3,134,393 N|vtol=Yes|orbital_capability=Capable of reaching orbit}}

All common vehicle parameters are supported, together with name, image, and notes.

Flight Spoilers and Ground Lift Dump (GLD) are separate capabilities. Record each independently. Use Yes or No for known presence/absence, and specify the landing-gear or flap type where known (for example, trailing_edge_flaps=Blown flaps). Omit unconfirmed values so they remain visibly marked.

Editing conventions

  • Omit an unknown parameter entirely. Omitted specification fields display Not specified and place the article in Category:Vehicles needing specifications. An explicitly empty assignment (for example, |weight=) overrides the default and remains blank; remove the assignment to restore the marker.
  • Use None, 0, or Not applicable only when that is known, rather than when a value has not been researched.
  • Supply units and operating conditions in the value, including [[CR]] for prices. This preserves distinctions such as kg versus MT, km/h versus m/s, and empty versus fully loaded performance. Units are not appended automatically.
  • Parameter names are case-sensitive. Standard wiki links are supported in values. Use {{!}} for a literal pipe outside a wiki link.
  • Existing images can stay outside the specification table. The optional image parameter accepts a complete file link, for example |image=[[File:A-4.png|thumb|right|400px]], including the filename extension.
  • name defaults to the article title; notes adds free-form notes below the table. These optional parameters do not generate missing-field markers.
