An uplink is an inventory item that can be installed at colonies to connect the colony to the global network. This allows the colony to:
- participate in the Futures Market
- communicate with you via your user board
- be listed for trade with other players on the Deois website (must be within 50 km)
- integrate with the Player Portal so that trade settings can be remotely managed and monitored
