Lift in flight
There are 4 forces acting on an aerospace vehicle in flight.
- Weight is a product of the mass of an object and the gravity in the environment
- An aircraft will climb as long as the lift is greater then the weight
- The aircraft stay the same altitude when lift and weight are equal
- The aircraft will descend when weight is greater then lift
