Material Obliteration is a matter-to-energy converter used to dispose of waste material. Although it produces a large amount of energy, the process also consumes a large amount of energy to operate.
In a mining colony that is surveyed as poor and running at 150% efficiency you will have approximately 30 MT of product and 140 MT for waste. The waste will clutter your plot if you do not dispose of it properly.
