A waypoint is a reference point in physical space used for purposes of navigation.
These can be entered manually into the organizer using latitude and longitude coordinates or can be stored from a vehicle's position. Waypoints are stored locally on the user's computer (as opposed to server-side), in a file named waypoints.dat. As a result, waypoints may be read and edited by external programs (such as Riot's Vieneo mapper and Deois mapper), and shared between players in bulk.
Caution: Manually entered waypoints will be placed at 0 km MSL.
