Inventory can be carried on your person (limited to a smaller amount) or carried in onboard your vehicle. Some inventory can be installed at colonies (like the Uplink) while others can be used on your person (like the First Aid Kit) or even installed in your vehicle (like the JVC Radio)!
Inventory has a weight. It can be expended (by using it) or damaged (like in combat).
Inventory items can be purchased, traded, and used.
